Google AdWords: The Basics.

Google AdWords are sponsored links that show up with the search results in Google. These links are basically paid ads that are used by advertisers to promote their products and services. One of the biggest advantages of these ads, Google AdWords, is that they are target specific; thanks to their utilizing the keyword that the consumer/ ''Googler” is searching. For the advertiser this means that if they utilize the proper keyword, then their ads will appear on pages that bear that keyword
. Likewise, for the publisher it means that if their site targets persons who are interested in a certain keyword, then advertisers will be more willing to advertise their products in the publishers sites.
How long does it take to start using Google AdWords? The first step is to open a Google AdWords account. Once approved, one should generate a list of keywords using the Google Keyword Tool and then write a short ad that is centered along these keywords. After this, you should set your daily budget as well as how much you are willing to pay per click for each of your keywords. And that is about it! Your ad should be up in a few minutes and it will appear on the right hand side of the Google Search Engine Results Pages.
