Bootlace Cydia Hack Brings Android 2.2.1 Froyo to your iPhone 3G / 2G- No computer required!

Bootlace is an iOS application that allows the installation of iDroid on your iPhone 3G/2g.In case you would like to try iDroid on your iPhone 3G, then follow this how to install iDroid guide.

Requirements
  • iOS 3.1.2 to iOS 4.1
  • iPhone 2G or iPhone 3G (iPod Touch 1G is coming soon)
Supported jailbreaking tools.
  • PwnageTool
  • Redsn0w
  • Blackra1n 
How to install iDroid 


Step One:
  • Jailbreak your supported device, that is if its not already jailbroken.
  • Open Cydia
  • Then go to ‘Manage’ and choose ‘Sources’ and then add http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk
  • Search BootLace and install it on your device.

Step Two:

  • Launch the app after installing it
  • Open OpeniBoot and click Install button as shown below.

Step 3:

  • BootLace will automatically test compatibility as well as download and install the files that are required to run Android OS. Just sit back.

Step 4:

  • Reboot your device after all of the above is done.
  • You will then be presented with the choice booting from either iOS and Android OS via QuickBoot tab. See image below

That is it! It is all done.

Removal. 


If for whatever reason you decide that you want to remove iDroid, then you have the choice of using iDroid tap. This will get you back to your current iOS.
